I came to Taiwan almost 4 years ago, and my idea was to work and entertain myself with local activities, so I bought a big bike and well… what else do you do with a big bike… I started to go to the race track!!!!… But then some friends made a team for a “very popular” local activity called Dragon Boat Festival, and I said… I don’t feel like rowing now… so the first day I was the camera man… I drunk a lot of whiskey and beer that day… the next day I did join the race and we actually won the tournament!!!! Who would imagine that I would end up racing paddle boats in Taiwan jejeje…. anyway we will join next year to rock them one more time!!!
Check the video made mainly by my friend Ian.

Have you ever felt that things are going completely in the opposite way that you were expecting? That you cannot just trust your plans based on some other people word… not that they have to do what they say, but at least you expect them to do or tell things within some time limits… I bet that feels like *@#!%…
Don’t worry, it didn’t happen to me…
Well, I have been waiting for so many things to happen, but it seems that for some of the, the most important ones, I will have to wait more…
I am waiting for the sales VP to confirm the trip to Argentina in September
I am waiting to see my wife and my parents and my brother in October
I am waiting for my wife to come back to Taiwan
I am waiting… I don’t know why I am waiting for this one, I could be looking for it now… but I want to move to a different house, bigger than my dorm so in the future when my wife comes she can have a cat or a dog or whatever
I am waiting for the company trip to Phuket in August
I am waiting for summer so I can fly my airplane (RC)
I am waiting to get a new scooter
But seems like waiting is not so bad, because when it comes, when it actually happens then you have a lot of fun enjoin what u were waiting for, for example, I was waiting for a company activity that after convincing everyone that paintball is better than a museum or eating or even hiking, I prove them that it was true !!! here is a video from the activity

I was waiting to buy a car one day, now I have it, I was also waiting to buy racing pants for the motorcycle I finally found my size… I am still waiting for next Friday and its very close now… why am I waiting for Friday, well it has been a long time since I really enjoy my bike, and on Friday I will depart on a trip to Kending for 3 days with around 40 motorcycles more!!!! That I will also enjoy very much.
Ok guys I will keep waiting for the best things to happen, see you guys then!!!
I haven’t been able to write for long time now, mainly because I was very busy, and I am still busy …
Anyway, since the accident and even a little before the weather has become very unstable and normally gray, last week it rained for 3 days all the time, and then we had 2 extremely hot and sunny days, than again a gray rainy day and then another sunny day… with a weather like that many ppl will get sick (I hope not me).
That plus the fact that I had the accident I was not able to ride my bike until last Sunday… I went to the Mountain View Resort, a very nice restaurant somewhere near Beipu and I enjoyed my ride very much… actually I felt very tired because of the lack of riding but I need to go out again this weekend so I can fortify the muscles on my back in order to enjoy more the trip that I will do to Kending with the WRS club next May 23th. We will depart at 7pm from Hsinchu and I don’t really know the plan… maybe we will try an Iron-but ride riding all night to kending, or we might stop in Tainan… at least it will be a 4 ~ 6 hours ride if we stop in Tainan, or 7~8 if we don’t…
Well I will keep you guys informed about the trip and what will I do about it
After the accident the doctor said that I should not ride scooter for around 2 weeks… so it was useless to buy one… then I asked if I could ride my bike… but of course he said “are you kidding me” then I said sure I am… that means that I couldn’t go to work…. But wait… I needed to work and I didn’t want to ask my brother always for ride on his car… so what could I do… then I knew that I had to buy a car !!! And here it is what I found, it’s a Ford Liata 1995 with only 110.000 kilometers, the previous owner was a house wife that took very good care of it.
In my family, it has been a tradition to always name the cars, I am still looking for the name for this one, so if u feel like helping on that, I would accept suggestions… please nice ones…
